Waardoor is MAYA ontstaan?
Wie had gedacht dat een plantje als luzerne hetverschil kon maken?
Klanten vertelden ons dat het strooien van de Hartog Luzerne mix over paardenweiden een verrassend effect had: de bodem leek vitaler en het gras groeide voller en kreeg een diepgroene kleur. Vanuit Grasdrogerij Hartog besloten we er daarom mee aan de slag te gaan en zo ontstond MAYA.
Als luzerne zo’n positief effect kan hebben op bodem en gras, waarom zouden we daar geen duurzame plantenvoeding van maken voor elk tuin? Zo ontstond het eerste product van MAYA: een complete organische plantenvoeding op basis van luzerne. Een plantenvoeding die niet alleen zorgt voor een prachtig groen gazon, maar ook de bodem voedt en verbetert.
Vanaf het begin hebben we een duidelijke keuze gemaakt: geen dierlijke ingrediënten zoals mest, bloed of botten. In plaats daarvan halen we onze kracht volledig uit planten. Daarmee staat MAYA voor een betere wereld en een duurzamere toekomst.

We are Hartog, a family business passionately dedicated to natural roughage and feed for horses and other livestock for over 70 years. What began as a grass drying facility has grown into an innovative partner in the agricultural sector, with a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and health.
